Mother’s Day Carriage Rides

Sunshine and mild temperatures filled the air on Mother’s Day, as David Place kicked off National Nursing Home Week with our annual Horse Drawn Carriage Rides. Mike Novotny and his crew with Sonora Carriage Company arrived and the front lawn was soon filled with residents and family members to watch the process of hitching the horses and wagon.  Lines quickly formed for those awaiting their turn to take a ride around town, and the rides did not disappoint.  Smiles were everywhere , and for some, it was a stroll down memory lane.  Special thanks to Dr. Gerald Luckey and Dr. Robert Daro who assisted with the events that day.
