022
On April 28, residents, staff, family, and friends gathered to honor Helen Wilson, Life Enrichment Coordinator, on her retirement from David Place. Cameo Rogers presented Helen with a crystal plaque from Vetter Senior Living recognizing her 20 years of devoted service to our community. Staff of David Place presented her with a garden statue in appreciation for her contributions.

Helen began working in the dietary department at David Place in January of 1996 before moving to the Life Enrichment department, and then taking on a leadership role.

According to Barb Aldrich, Administrator, “Helen has contributed 20 years of her life here at david place enriching the lives of others. She is truly a friend to the residents that live here and the staff she works with. She has a compassionate heart, knows each resident well and what is important to them. She easily receives smiles each day. She cares about staff and asks how they are and how their families are. Helen is very dependable, reliable, has a big heart, is a good friend, and a hard worker. It has been a pleasure knowing and working with Helen. We will always remember her and will miss her.”
