David Place Hosts “Feed the Farmer”

On October 22, with harvest in full swing, David Place staff headed out to some of the Frontier Co-op branches, where the farmers were busy bringing in their crops.  Hot dogs and sack lunches were handed out to farmers as they came through the elevator in their semi’s and grain trucks.  80 lunches were served that day.  All of this was part of David Place’s focus on giving back to the community.  “Feed the Farmer was our way of showing appreciation to the local farmers,”  said Angie Coufal, Public Relations Coordinator at David Place.  “We live in a farm community and what better way to thank them than with a fast lunch during their busy time of year.”
