Community Picnic at David Place

Burgers and hot dogs cooking on the grill, tables full of family and friends, and warm sunny weather. This was the scene at David Place on May 10 as National Nursing Home Week was celebrated by inviting the community in for a complimentary BBQ meal. At one point in the evening, almost every chair was filled, but it never got to the point of anyone having to wait for a seat. A bake sale and split the pot drawing were held at the picnic, to raise funds for the Vetter Foundation. This 2nd annual Community Picnic was a great opportunity to say thank you and give back to our community.
