Open House for Dr. Robert Daro
Dr. Robert Daro and his family were guests of honor at an open house held at David Place on Sunday November 15. Guests filled the reception area to welcome home Dr. Daro to the community and the greater Butler County Medical Professionals. After receiving words of thanks from many, Dr. Robert Daro addressed the crowd, sharing his life path that led him back to David City to begin his medical practice. Dr. Daro explained how he wants to be part of the community and people’s everyday lives, not only to be their physician. He began his healthcare career working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at David Place during the summer between graduating high school and going off to college. “The entire team at David Place thanks Dr. Daro for choosing David City as the center of his new medical practice,” states Barbara Aldrich, Administrator of David Place. “It was an honor to be able to host this Open House for him.”
Dr. Daro lives in David City with his wife Miriam and 2 daughters Celestine and Marietta. He is the son of Russ and Loretta Daro of David City and graduated from Aquinas High School in 2004. Dr. Daro attended the University of Nebraska in Kearney, obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry in 2008. He then received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2012 and completed his training specializing in Family Medicine. He holds professional membership with the American Academy of Family Practice and is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Advanced Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. Dr. Daro began his practice at the Butler County Clinic in August 2015.
