I wanted to thank you and your staff for the excellent care you have given my mother. Saying you went above and beyond doesn't really describe the care you have given my loved one. If there were a category that goes above, "above and beyond", I would put you there. You have simply given the best care I have ever seen or experienced. You and your organization should stand proud each and every day for the wonderful jobs you do. I hope you know that you are giving what I consider the model for care in a Long Term, Short Term facility. I specifically want to thank Kirk for his guidance and reassurance when we had to take my mother from another facility that was not caring for her properly. You have wonderful staff members, nursing, therapy and clerical. Thank you for all you do every day!!
James, RN
It was very hard for us when we found out our parents would have to go into a nursing home. But all of you made it so much easier for all of us. We were not sure what to expect, but you all made them so welcome and were so kind to them and us. They have nothing but good things to say! We can't begin to thank you all for the great care they got while there. We are hoping and praying they can be home for a long time! But we know they will probably have to go to a home again some day and David Place will be their and our choice again! Thank you to all for caring for them and being so kind to all of us.

At David Place, the residents become a part of your family. Lots of love and laughter. When they go home or pass, it leaves an empty spot. Co-workers become friends. Everyone is flexible with scheduling and willing to help out. Definitely a great place to work. I miss being at work when I'm not there. Come join our family!
Christine, RN
How can we begin to thank you for all the wonderful care given to both Dad and all of us throughout this difficult journey. You all were both professional but yet very loving and caring to Dad and it means the world to us. It takes very special people to do your job in that way and we love you each for it. God Bless.

The people in David City should be very thankful and proud of our nursing home David Place. I just came home from spending a little less than 5 weeks there recuperating from a broken hip and was treated great. Their therapy department and staff are tops. And know what they are doing. I had therapy in the mornings and afternoons every weekday and it helped immensely. I gained strength and confidence quickly and am well on my way to recovery in a very short time. Also the staff at David Place are the friendliest people you’d ever want to meet. They treat a person royally with their care and delicious meals. We are fortunate to have such a place in David City.
Darlene S.
I don't think you could get any better help than I did at David Place. They were all so nice to me. The therapists made sure that I got my therapy and it was great. Everything was wonderful. They took good care of me so I could get home fast and I appreciated that.
Jack S.
A huge thank you to all the fine folks of David Place for the wonderful care and loving environment you provided my parents for all those years! You people are God’s hands on earth!
Joan K., daughter of Wilfred and Leola
We would like to express our profound gratitude for the kindness and loving care that you provided for dad, Norman. I always knew that he was cared FOR and cared ABOUT.
Barbara, daughter of Norman
I really enjoy working at David Place because of all the people I work with. We all work together and teamwork is our goal. Everyone is always smiling, and happy. The residents are amazing, especially when we get new ones they are always fun to talk to because they have so much to share. I wouldn't work at any other nursing home. I am grateful to be working here.
Diana, CNA
We sincerely thank all of you at David Place for your dedicated service. Roman, our father, was a resident for a time and Agnes, our mother, lived there for almost seven years. We know they were well cared for. We were also treated very well and made to feel at home during our many visits. We will miss your friendly faces.
Janice and Ron, children of Roman and Agnes
You are all very special people. Thank you for the lovely plant you sent in Mom's memory and, most of all, thank you for taking such good care of her and for making her so happy in her final years. People like you are a blessing and we'll never forget your kindness.
Judy, daughter
We think the individual attention given to residents is great. And the activities are especially good as something always seems to be going on. It's a nice balance, not too much but enough.
Scott, son of Resident Dorothy
I like the ice cream. I love all the people I work with because they're loving, caring folks and they help me do my job.
Corky, Consultant Pharmacist
I am so fortunate. Everyone where I live is so dedicated in their work- they are so kind and gentle.
Dorothy H, Resident
I wouldn't have my mother any other place. The staff does a wonderful job with the residents. The food is very good. There is always something to do, the activity staff does a good job. Mom really enjoys the music. The rooms are always clean and fresh smelling.
Charles, son of Resident Anna
A parent's transition from his/her home to a care facility is difficult at best. The staff at David Place understand this...and do an excellent job of providing the resident the emotional and physical support needed to make this transition.
The staff's ongoing quality of care as well as their compassion and competence make David Place unique. "Thank you" for all of your effort to make life easier for our loved one.
Linda, daughter of resident Esther
I would like to commend Helen Wilson and Andy Wachal for putting a cross on the east side of David Place so all the residents could view during their Easter time. They changed the black cloth on Easter morning to white cloth, which was then draped over the cross. It meant a lot for the residents at David Place to be honored like this.
Maria S.
Thank you so much for the peace lily you gave in memory of Marilyn, I am going to use my "green thumb" to try and keep it looking beautiful. She was fortunate to have been in such a nice nursing home where everyone shared their care and compassion for her. Thank you so much.
Marlene K.
A sincere thank you for all of the cards, phone calls, and gifts while I was a patient and convalescing at David Place, where I got excellent care.
Rose K. (former resident)
David Place has become "our home away from home" in the last four years. The staff does an excellent job working with all the special health needs of each patient and keeping the family members informed of those changes as they occur with the patient. We have appreciated the private spaces in the family activity rooms and the beautiful outdoor surroundings at david place. Our mother has enjoyed many walks and the close proximity of the city park, that stimulation is so good for the patients. The entire staff are eager to help the patients and family members to make this challenging time a positive experience. We are very fortunate to have this outstanding facility in our area.
-Ardis R.
How do you begin to thank people who took in our Loved One and made her one of the family? Each and everyone of you made our Aunt Katie, your Aunt Katie. She felt the love of all of you around her everyday she was here. Our family is blessed to have you in our lives. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

Aunt Katie's motto was– "You can live to a 100 on Russell Stovers and orange juice." Thought we would carry on the tradition!
Shelly and Dave S.
Wishing there were a way to say thank you that is as special as the nice things you always find to do. WITH SINCERE THANKS

Thank you for all you did for our mother Mary W. I don't know how I could have done this without all of your wonderful care you gave to mom. You all have a very special place in my heart.
-Geri and family
I just want to thank you for the loving care you showed mother with her recent stay. I was so impressed with the treatment that was given that my sisters and I could feel the love that radiated through out the home. All the angels that took care of mom, I know were placed there by God.

Your facility was clean and cheerful. I was fortunate to stay with mom 24/7 and the care was excellent. All the residents were taken care of with the same love, they looked happy, and seemed proud to call David Place their home.

I felt your staff had pride in their work, they wanted to be there and that it was more of a calling then a job. I just wish all rest homes could be like yours. This was a very difficult time for my sisters and me….

David Place and staff made the last of mom's journey home easier for her and our family. Thank you for all the help in this transition. We were blessed with mom and blessed to have had her in David Place.
Luella's daughter, Becky
Thank you for the peace lily for Aunt Vera's funeral. We appreciate the loving care you gave her during her brief stay. You made her last days very comfortable.
The family of Vera M.
You folks are truly angels on Earth. I could not have asked for more loving and compassionate care for my mom, Mary Jane, than you have given. She loved every one of you! Your genuine concern for Dad's wellbeing since her passing has been a tremendous comfort for both him and me. It's obvious we are all working as "Team Vern" to do what we can to help him. Thanks for your kind words and hugs when I really needed them also!

The peace lily sent by David Place is beautiful–hope I can keep it that way! Like Mom, I think they’re quite durable. You are blessed to have such a loving, caring, and highly capable group of employees. I couldn't ask for a better experience for my parents.

Thank you so much for the peace lily you gave in memory of Marilyn, I am going to use my "green thumb" to try and keep it looking beautiful. She was fortunate to have been in such a nice nursing home where everyone shared their care and compassion for her. Thank you so much.

Wishing there were a way to say thank you that is as special as the nice things you always find to do. WITH SINCERE THANKS

Thank you for all you did for our mother Mary W. I don't know how I could have done this without all of your wonderful care you gave to mom. You all have a very special place in my heart.

Thank you for the peace lily for Aunt Vera's funeral. We appreciate the loving care you gave her during her brief stay. You made her last days very comfortable.
